SPIRITUS is a stunning Art and Craft Gallery nestled in the picturesque historic gold-mining town of Yackandandah in North East Victoria.

The aim of Spiritus is to celebrate the spirit and to present a warm, welcoming space in which the public can come and relax and enjoy the beautiful artwork and hand-crafted items.
Local owner Christine Thorpe, is diligent in selecting pieces of a high quality which are still affordable so the public can enjoy items which will last a life-time.

Spiritus allows its customers to appreciate the talents of the town and regions many specialist artists and craftspeople.

Spiritus features a full range of creative, mixed-media artworks which are complemented by a range of smaller, well-finished handcrafted items in wood, textile, ceramic, glass, sculpture and jewellery.

Participating artisans include:

- Internationally renowned potter John Dermer whose work graces the foyer of Parliament
  House in Canberra.
- Hand-blown glass pieces by The Glass Mob whose Koori inspired work features in the
  national gallery.
- Wooden boxes by leading craftsman Rex Heathcote.
- Awarded watercolourist Lara Cooper.
- Bright, funky, resin jewellery by Rebecca Roth. And much more.
